I'm back.
Since not being in school, I've kind of had trouble with time-management because I don't necessarily have a schedule to stick to. Yes, I know this is a HORRIBLE habit, but I also blame it on my "Hawaii Time" type of personality--not with everything, but in the place I'm in right now in regards to my focuses, goals, etc...I'm just kind of up in the air, everywhere, figuring things out. Hence the horrible time management. sorry.
Here's a little update of what I've been up to the past few weeks:
- My room: I tore my room apart, got rid of three trash bags full of stuff, two bags full of clothes and cleaned EVERYTHING. Then I put it all back together. So that took me like a week and a half. HAHA. (BLOG POST ON MY ROOM COMING SOON!)
- Started reading "The Sun and Her Flowers" by Rupi Kaur. I am beyond inspired by her and her writings. I'm not poet, but I definitely relate to her style of writing and have many pieces that share similar sentiments and are in similar style.
- and the big one....
I AUDITIONED FOR A MUSICAL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TWO YEARS
My last big, community theatre show was 42nd Street which was in the spring of my sophomore year of college. School, internships, study abroad, etc. took over my life and my focus shifted for a bit. Theatre and dance have always been passions of mine and taking that time away from it to focus on other aspects of my life was necessary but challenging and sad; It's like it was a piece of my life that I ignored for a while. Regardless of the outcome, I am proud of myself for stepping back into that part of me. It kinda made me feel more whole again, ya know?
but GOD I HOPE I GET IT. (if you don't know this reference, pls look at "A Chorus Line")
